Last year I participated with the introduction week as mentor. This was a fun and exciting experience that I would definitely recommend you.
In a week full of fun activities, organized by the ESV, NSM and by yourself,  you can help the new coming students to find their way through the city of Nijmegen and the campus of the Radboud. It is fun to meet new students coming to Nijmegen. Every night the ESV or the faculty has organized a party for you and your group to meet other new coming students and other intro mentors. The entire city center is filled with students of the Radboud or the HAN, which makes it more fun to have a drink.
Throughout the week, you need to help the new students with some important information about the Radboud, like how to apply for a course and how to set up your schedule of the Radboud.
Besides these activities, you can do whatever you want to do in this week to make sure your group gets to know the city and can make new friends. The ESV plans a lot of fun activities, but you could also come up with your own plans to make it more fun.
It is fun to guide a group of students around your age through every step you’ve made as a student at the Radboud and Nijmegen.
The Radboud also organizes a festival for all its students with a lot of fun music stages and food stands.
So, if you like to help new students around the city and the university, I will definitely recommend it. You participate to fun activities throughout the week and party a lot, make new friends and get to know the new ESV board and fellow ESV students.
