What you’ll do
As a Trader within Optiver you will be working in a highly competitive and fast changing environment. You will not only continuously price and trade financial options, but also build and maintain positions in derivatives and equities. You need to make sure your position stays within limits and stands up to the changes in the fundamentals of the market. Furthermore we expect you to take initiative in improving our models and trading methods to be able to seize every potential opportunity in the market, staying ahead of the competition. You need the drive to constantly improve your market knowledge, stay up-to-date and search for new trading theories.

So in short, you will:
-Price and trade financial options;
-Build and maintain positions in derivatives and equities;
-Analyze the risk of your position;
-Do research to improve models and trading methods;
-Constantly search for knowledge and new theories.

What you’ll need
-Academic Degree;
-Excellent numerical and analytical skills;
-A strong affinity for financial markets and a numbers-orientated character;
-Be accurate and have the ability to solve problems;
-Make fast decisions under pressure;
-Competitive attitude and eagerness to constantly improve yourself;
-The ability to cope with increasing responsibility.
